Electronic Devices / Cell Phones

Students may be in possession of cell phones and personal electronic devices (including CD players, I pods, MP3 players and hand held gaming systems). However, the device must be in the off mode and must be kept in the backpack, purse, or similar carryall and may not be used during school hours. A device used outside these parameters shall result in the confiscation of the device until a parent/guardian can come and pick it up. A student in violation of this policy is subject to related disciplinary action. The school will assume no responsibility for these devices should they become lost, damaged, or stolen.
